public class ScrollPane
extends JScrollPane
implements ComponentListener

This class is a basic JScrollPane except that the viewport is always set to display the top of the contained compoent (e.g. if the component is an editor, the viewport will be set to the beginning of the document). Please note that if you're using a JTextArea, you can simply call lTextArea.setCaretPosition(0) to make sure the beginning of the text is displayed
